You are here: AU  Staff Departments  Department of Bioscience Facilities

The Department of Bioscience offers a wide range of facilities for use in research and the research based activities. Below is an overview of both laboratory facilities and major research infrastructure. Via the left menu you can, among other things, read more about some of the work place facilities.

Laboratory Facilities

Are you going to perform analyses, but don't have the equipment needed in the section or at the work place? In the table below you can get an overview of the apparatus and analysis options at the Department's four work places. For every apparatus a producer, model and function are provided, and more details where necessary. You can also see where the apparatus is located and find contact information. To make use of facilities in another section, simply enter into a dialogue with the contact person or the head of section to clarify the conditions.

The overview is updated every half year by Dorete Weysmann Jensen (Roskilde), Elin Ellebæk Petersen (Aarhus), Dorte Nedergaard (Silkeborg), Lars Haugaard (Kalø).

As an alternative to this overview, the old equipment register for the former DMU has been moved into a new database, which is continuously updated by BIOS and ENVS and describes instruments that can be found in Roskilde and Silkeborg (FEVØ). This register is in the accreditation system D4Infonet, but can be accessed by everyone in the link below. Please note that the instruments used for accredited analyzes are not available without the responsible laboratory technicians and members of the academic staff being involved in the project.
